Remember: A Stable Beginning Became Our Stable Future

Parties all around, festive music playing on speakers, and the crisp morning air; it’s a season to enjoy! Christmas is here already, because of a stable beginning.

Jesus’ birth is a great reminder to us of our stable beginning. Our focus on the reason for the season is just that, the reason we are celebrating. Jesus was born in a stable, but our focus shouldn’t stop there this season.

Our stable future is the end goal of the race we run in this life. Our joy at the birth of Christ is so profound because of the stable future He offers. We had a meager beginning but now have the option to look forward to an incredible future with Him.

Because of His great mercy and grace, the stable beginning is merely the introduction to the story. Let’s not forget the rest of the story this season and let that shape and mold who we are and how we interact with those around us.
